YOUNG ADULTS

 

The Young Adults Department is glad to have Dr. Monte Fleming as our speaker for 2019 Camp Meeting. As in year's past, the Young Adults will only be meeting on Sabbath, June 15.

 

Dr. Monte Fleming is an Adventist and also a geologist, received his PhD degree in geology from Loma Linda University in 2018. He is currently working on his post doctorate research at the University of Minnesota, and currently attending Southview Seventh day Adventist Church in Minnesota Conference. Dr. Fleming wants to have dialogue with Minnesota Conference young adults on the topic of creation from both theological and scientific perspectives. Do you have any questions on creation? Are you curious on Noah's flood and the fossils? Bring your questions! Please come and let’s reason together!

Schedule

• 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.: Sabbath School with Pr. Sean Lee

• 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: First Session and Q&A with Dr. Fleming

• 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: Lunch

• 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Second Session with Dr. Fleming

• 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.: Q&A and Panel Discussion with Pr. Lee & Dr. Fleming

• 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Dinner (food will be provided) and sundown worship with Pr. Lee
